The Proposals

A new Lidl store and separate Home Bargains store with associated garden centre are proposed. Access would be available via the existing access off Bankwood Way and via a new access off Woodhead Road.

The proposals include:

A new 2,231 sqm gross (1,414 sqm sales area) Lidl store

A separate Home Bargains store of circa 2,322 sqm (gross) with associated 650 sqm gross garden centre

A high quality contemporary design;

186 car parking spaces including 10 accessible spaces, 2 electric vehicle charging spaces, and 8 parent and child spaces;

Attractive hard and soft landscaping

A stepped and ramped footpath link from Woodhead Road.
